Membership Renewal Time
It's
that time of year again - time to renew your guild membership. Not a
member yet? You can easily remedy that dilemma by downloading our current
membership form here and bring it
with your yearly dues of $20.00 (regular) or $25.00 (seniors) to our next
guild meeting - which just happens to be Monday, February 15th.
What does membership to Gateway Quilters' Guild mean for you?
|
-
Several
times a year, we have nationally known guest speakers who
provide either lectures, trunk shows, workshops or a combination
at our monthly meetings. Because of the annual dues, attendance
at the workshops are considerably less.
-
Being
a member of Gateway Quilters Guild not only provides a great
community of fellow quilting sisters, but also small groups and
periodic workshops where you can learn news skills or improve
the ones you may already have.
-
We
give an annual scholarship to deserving candidates from Merced
College to help further their education.
-
We
host a biennial quilt show where the community can come and see
hundreds of beautiful works of art produced by our members.
-
We
design and produce an Opportunity Quilt each year, selling
raffle tickets for the opportunity to win this extraordinary
quilt. Funds from these sales also help to run the guild's
programs and events.
-
We
have an extensive library of books and magazines to assist you
in a variety of quilting interests.
